The task and the purpose of the ONDIGON DESIGN is the design of houses which are tailored to suit the unique environment in the  African Continent.

Although not obvious to many  the African continent  is characterized by a high demand for functional living space as well as  investment properties  for families both resident and those in diaspora. This  demand is though hampered by a scacity of  design professionals in many of the countries in the continent leading to use of unspecialized individuals as well as improvisation with the help of contractors who claim to understand design. The results  are anyones guess and as can be read in the news media are disastrous at  best from colapsing houses, bridges to unfunctional spaces that do not accomodate the way of life of a people. Due to this situation may individuals in Diapora take up magazines and select plans that  are completely incongurent with the environment in the african continent. To an already deteriorating situation this adds insult to injury let alone the fact that for an important statement like your home your personality is completely left out.   

ONDIGON Design  aspires to provide a choice  against  arbitrary  and irrelevant  design  choices and distant design  contracts that immigrants are forced to contend with  when they aspire to  build  anywhere in   Africa.
